Grader add ons

On Moba egg graders there are several options that will expand the possibilities. All these functions are available to the OMNIA series and some also can be added to the Moba 2500. Contact your sales representative for more information.


Crack detection
Eggs are scanned by means of an acoustical system in a very accurate way. The entire surface of the eggshell is scanned for any cracks, from big to very small. With information about the size and location of each crack, the operator can tune the system to his demands. The Moba crack detector can be added on Omnia and Moba 2500 egg graders.


EggInspector
By means of camera's and special lighting, an advanced computerprogram can detect leaking- and dirty eggs on the infeed of OMNIA egg graders. Leakers can be rejected in several dropgates (depending on the machine configuration) and dirt eggs will be sorted on an offgrade lane. Besides the decission if an egg is dirty, also the severity of the offgrade is available. This combined with the flexibility of the OMNIA control makes the simultanious production of different very accurate controlled output qualities possible.


Blood detection
In the main transport frame of OMNIA egg graders, a spectrum analysis of the egg contents will reveal even the smallest bloodspots in eggs. Because of high energy xenon lamps, this system works well on all egg types, including the most dark brown eggs.


Brown detection
This function enables the operator of OMNIA egg graders to grade eggs not only on weight but also on shell colour. This feature can be used to split up white and brown eggs from one mixed flow or produce eggs on a packinglane with one nice uniform colour to be sold as premium product.


UV disinfection
By means of Ultra Violet light chances of bacterial cross-contamination are reduced with a factor better then 1000. In combination with the OMNIA-XF program this offers the best way to produce safe eggs.


Feather & Dust remover
This system removes feathers and incoming dust from eggs. This system will serve several purposes:

  • Mechanic wear is reduced by less dust particles in your chains and bearings.
  • Dust in your packing station is reduced
  • In combination with EggInspector less egg will be detected as dirt by loose dust or feathers that will come of later in the process.

Parts washer
In the Omnia-XF program, all parts that can come in contact with eggs in te packer can be taken out to clean outside the machine.

This parts washer is designed and programmed to provide the best washing- and disinfection program for these plastic parts. This eXtended Foodsafety program ensures the production of safe eggs in an effective way.
