OLYMPUS E12 INKJET

Based on the proven Hewlett Packard thermal ink jet printhead, OLYMPUS E12 Inkjet delivers bold, fully formed characters from the first print to the last with a full 300 DPI at production line speeds of up to 61 M per minute.

OLYMPUS E12’s compact ergonomic design allows it to be sited in almost any production facility. Product family compatibility means that OLYMPUS E12 can directly replace or compliment other Rational Marking Systems as well as offering low cost, low maintenance coding to new customers.

Hardware Options:

  1. Single or twin traversing head for printing on indexing conveyors.
  2. Single or twin fixed head
  3. Stand mounting to suit specific operations
  4. External non contact product sensing
  5. Left or right handed models for convenient cable connection
  6. Product height following
  7. Networked or stand alone

Ink Supply:

Built into the printhead is a 42cc ink reservoir. Once the ink in the cartridge has been depleted, it can be taken out, disposed of and a new ink cartridge inserted in seconds

  1. Colours: Black, Blue, Red, Green, Yellow  for porous surfaces
  2. Black for semi porous
  3. Cartridge volume: 42cc

Software Capability:

  1. Rational’s Labagent software can control up to 32 Inkjet or thermal printers with any mix on the same system.
  2. All future Rational software developments will be backward compatible.
  3. 1-4 lines of print up to 12.2mm high with barcode and logo expansion.
  4. Unlimited message memory
  5. Ink  volume monitoring
  6. Individual machine status reporting
  7. Variable print speed
  8. Variable traverse speed on single and twin moving heads.
  9. Independent variable print delay for single and twin head

 Connectivity:

  1. Pack print integration to production line allows real time information printing.
  2. RS422 based network
  3. 90-250V mains to 24V DC fused 1.3a
  4. Stand alone controller for single unit operation. (limited to 50 message memory x 50 character/ line/message).
  5. External encoder on standalone.
